Everclear forever...hey, this is my everclear page, isn't it cool? i know it's pretty bad, but i hope to make large improvements. my page has lots of everclear pics, meaningful lines, and all sorts of stuff. also i will have great links to much better everclear pages i recommend that no one that likes the following bands go there: hanson, bsb or spice girls.on my page i will have other stuff such as my opinion against rap and stuff on other bands that are cool.i have a poll here, please vote! | |

Facts About Everclear
everclear is made up of 3 very important guys: Art Alexakis, Craig Montoya, and Greg Eklund. Art sings and plays the guitar(vocals guitarist) Craig plays the bass and helps Art sing(bassist and backup vocals) and Greg plays the drums and also helps Art sing(dummer and backup vocals). everclear has produced three, count'em three albums.
1993-world of noise, 1995-sparkle and fade, 1997-so much for the afterglow. for a complete track listing of all three albums go to my other site here: www.expage.com/page/everclearandstuff and scroll down. everclear is an alternative-rock to an alternative-punk band. (IMHO) world of noise is highly punkish and sparkle and fade is somewhat punkish, and so much for the afterglow is not punkish at all. so much for the afterglow is rockish.(end IMHO). IMHO STANDS FOR IN MY HUMBLE OPINION. thank you for reading everclear facts.
Anti-Rap
rap. rap, bad. rap=bad. there is no reason why rap is good. no, that is wrong. there is no good reason why rap is good. not only is it not good it is definately not great. why do i hate rap? because i have a brain! i will now list reasons why i hate rap, i if i offend anyone i am very sorry, but i am completely opposed to rap.
Reasons.
1. it is just some guy(or girl) talking into a microphone.
2. it takes no talent whatsoever, but i guess it takes talent to talk fast, but it also takes talent to swear fast which rap prety much is. swears. i do know that no some rap is forming that doesn't swear too much even maybe not at all, but almost every cd case that is rap i see "parental advisory".
3. too many swears(see above)
4. lots of people only like it because it is the popular thing now. they give me reasons like i like it or it sounds good, but why?
5. most don't have positive messages. i do recognize that some do though.
6. i can't call the recordings songs because that implies singing.
7. i can't call the groups bands because that implies intsruments other than a turntable and a synthesizer.
8. the so called "artists" get paid more than the average american and in their recordings they brag about it.
9. it has a influence on kids today. kids are saying "what up homie", and "what are you? from the ghetto?"
10. no musical talent at all.
